Jump Start 2026

Alexis Mainord is a Prevention Specialist at Volunteers of America where she facilitates social and emotional learning groups with youth throughout the school year, during summer programs, and in after-school programs. She also helps facilitate other community resources, such as parenting and adult DUI workshops. One of her favorite parts about her role is being able to witness students connect the dots and demonstrate what they've learned. While not at work, Alexis loves spending time in the mountains or hanging out with her dog.
