About me
Anna Gilliam is an Extension Assistant Professor for Utah State University Extension in Sevier County Utah. Her work focuses on strengthening families and individuals and building community resources and resilience. She is leading a group of extension personnel in a project at USU titled Confident Youth Leaders. This project aims at creating resources and trainings to help the adults who work with youth feel more confident and comfortable addressing the various needs that youth may have. Whether that be mental health needs, physical or developmental disabilities, or external factors in youth lives, Anna believes that the adult leaders should feel safe and prepared to include all youth in their program.
