Marci Houseman is the Founder and CEO of rinnalla, a Science of Reading–based coaching platform that equips the caring adults in a child's life to turn everyday moments into literacy growth. A former Title I and turnaround principal with 30+ years in education and school improvement, she now focuses on the hours beyond the school day—where afterschool professionals, caregivers, and parents shape whether early skills take root. Her conviction matches this year's theme: little moments, done with intention, create big outcomes for kids. Marci also serves on the Sandy City Council, championing family engagement and early childhood as community priorities. A lifelong reader, she believes every adult can become a confident literacy partner—and loves helping them get there.
