About me
Janelle Gutierrez is an Afterschool Consultant with the Utah Afterschool Network. Holding a degree from BYU Idaho in Child Development, she is a dedicated youth development professional with more than 20 years of experience serving children and families through early childhood and out-of-school-time programs. Drawing on her own experiences as an afterschool participant, she is passionate about creating enriching opportunities for young people and mentoring the next generation of educators. Originally from San Diego and now proud to call Utah home, she enjoys camping, spending time at the lake, and making memories with her husband, three children, and their fur baby.
