About me
Joshua Figueroa is a certified prevention specialist with Volunteers of America. In this role, he teaches evidence-based social-emotional learning curriculum to students within the Salt Lake City School District. Teaching throughout the Salt Lake Valley, he has had the opportunity to work with students K-12 coming from various backgrounds. Through art and other digestible mediums, he provides youth with skills for emotional regulation, health decision-making, self-confidence, etc. Joshua values his community and loves art.
