About me
Makenzie Portocarrero is a Site Coordinator at Matheson Jr. High with Salt Lake County Youth Services. She draws on more than a decade of educational experience—including eight years with the county and three as a preschool teacher. She holds a B.A. in Education Policy and a minor in TESOL. Passionate about youth engagement, Makenzie loves bringing imaginative, experiential learning into her program. In her free time, she enjoys baking, crafting art, and spending quality time with family.
