Susan Smaellie supports students and families with compassion and clinical expertise as a School-Based Therapist in two Utah Title I elementary schools. As the Parent Community Liaison with the Utah School Mental Health Collaborative, she provides education for parents, caregivers and community partners that inspires personal growth and a positive multi-generational impact. Serving in the community, Susan leads authentic conversations about women’s health with breast cancer survivors. Outside of her professional life, Susan enjoys children’s literature and is learning Spanish. She and her husband are the parents of four adult children. Susan graduated with a Master of Social Work from the University of Utah in 2025.
