Jump Start 2026

Terri Johnson is the creator of the Quirkles and Fuddlebrook Science Series. She also developed an after-school program, Fiction, Facts, & Fun, that served over one thousand children in Springfield, Missouri. Terri is passionate about making literacy engaging and fun. In addition, Terri is an advocate for early science education. She encourages integrating the two subjects and has created two literacy-and-science curricula that reflect this passion. While not promoting science and literacy, Terri enjoys playing pickleball and Mahjong, gardening, traveling, and reading mysteries.
